King - Update

You're referrin to mouse in spider web in closet under house in Corolla in the late 80's. Mentioned then and will again how spiders prolific on northern beaches and much fewer on HI. Back then one of 1st items after luggin in groceries was to grab plastic bat and "drive" spiders off decks. Sounded and felt like marbles bein hit.

Saw few daff's sprouting yesterday. No veggie seed planting.
Time and expense of deck planting not worth it. Off deck plantings = deer food.

Wrappin up winter painting today and tomorrow. Managed to use leftover paints saved since 2008. = Capt "Frugal". Will take another week to re-build shelving and plexiglass wall protector removed prior to painting.

Single digits again next week. Time change in 2 weeks.

Painting, taxes, community responsibilities, and Dr.'s only things accomplished last 2 months.

Been real downer this winter. Many residents succumbing to old age. Serious illnesses and death. Unadvertised fact when living in OP community. (Playin pool this AM w/ 97 year old guy)...no joke...and he's a good player still.)

Family beach time takin 1st hit in 39 years this summer. Jobs won't permit 1 daughter-in-law and 1 son-in-law to attend.

All fishin (legal post) here at standstill due to weather.

Lottsa deer, no hibernating types out yet.

As for politics...feel for those offended by everything ...but just can't reach em. Heard last nite school animal dissections (frogs etc.) the latest offense. Saved mine after college biology class. Served on bun to customer one night while tendin bar at mom and dads place. Had to be there...
