OBX SUCCESS !!!

Just returned from my first trip ever to the OBX and my family and I had a great time! I am new to the surfishing game, but If you fished there last week you know that surf conditions were tough to say the least. I tried to fish every morning, but between the rip current, winds and that cursed seagrass, it was almost impossible to fish the beach. Finally on Friday the weather cooperated and I got into some blues. Big ones. Managed to land 2 keepers and lost 6 more. I have to brag a little. I've never really surf fished, never fished OBX,never threw a cast net and I was able to catch bait and land fish in pretty rough conditions. Yay for me. Thanks to everyone on this board for your advice, but especially to Terry. While we never got to hook up, he gave me a lot of usefull info. that finally paid off. Cant wait to get back to OBX!!!!
