Must admit...clean freak.

That bein said, have managed to make light colored builders grade carpeting last 15 yrs. Do it every winter. Bought machine...loan out to kids.

Be surprised at dirt removed.

Don't wear shoes in house, and kids/grandkids when here take off shoes. Company occasionally doesn't.

Laid in weekly groceries this AM, incl. wings for Super Bowl. Forecast here upper 40's over the weekend.

Deck still about 10" deep. Plenty of deer, and flocks of robins and blackbirds daily.
