Yeah had Charles Chip guy + others also forgot to add to original post. So many great memories back then when we entertained ourselves w/o electronic gadgets.

Back in the day b/w TV only on Sundays starting at 4:00 PM. 1 channel. Test pattern came on at noon. In later years had Mickey Mouse Club and Bandstand.

You listen to Lone Ranger, Capt Midnight on radio, or watch Capt. Video or Space patrol on b/w TV? Have decoder rings, or ray guns, tiny space ships and submarines that worked w/ baking soda...the ones that were obtained by mailin in labels and box tops?

Son-in-law has grown great beard. Really looks like Santa. Daughter-in-law plans to hire him next season. Pay is $100 hour. The goin rate. 4 hour stints. Big bucks to be made. Who knew?
