Just got back from hunting in North PA. Was gonna travel up to Potter County on Sat. but we had bad freezing rain all day. Drove up on Sunday morning, still everything had a little ice on the road.
Got to camp & had 10" of snow on the ground. Monday it rained all day. Compressed everything down to around 6". Pain in the butt to walk thru. Got soaked to the bone. Only saw 2 doe.
Here in PA., Bucks only legal the first part of the week. Doe season starts on Sat. I'll be hunting around the house from Sat. til I get a deer.
Calling for 3-7" of snow up at camp tonight. The real reason I left today.
