31 on North Coast this AM. Predicted snow so far has not materialized. Not a lot of color on trees - mostly brown.

Gas fireplace up and runnin for a week now at the request of Mrs. Capt. Electric in Hemmingway room always ready.

Paintin now, last wall of Mrs. Capt's "book repository" AKA guest bedroom. Will take her weeks to redecorate and re-populate her 1000 books in there.

Police action (home surveys) for violations completed.

Dr. son doin annual Halloween presentation. Haunted dungeon walk-thru this time. Be goin there to assist. Effectiveness as always measured by # of wet spots in driveway:):)
