avon surf fishing wk of 8/12

Hi everyone! Heading down to Avon next week and I'll be fishing in the surf morning, noon and night...well at least morning and evening. I know this isn't the best time to go there for fishing but it was the only time everyone could take a vacation. If I can catch fish for a meal for everyone I'll be tickled to death...there are 12 of us though. Just wondered if there was any local advice on places to go that might be more productive this time of year. I also wouldn't mind throwing in some fresh shrimp and blue atlantic crabs in that dinner...so any local crabbing and shrimping spots would be appreciated too. Tight lines to ya! And a screaming drag would be nice too...ehhh.
