Fish ramp 23 this morning from 0700-11. Incoming tide. Parked and walked out and turned north. Pompano, blues and sea mullet. Most were small. Bait was sand fleas and bite size shrimp on pomp rig. Shrimp caught more. The blues were on fish finder rig. Cut bait. Side note. As cut bait was soaking and I not paying attention to the rod, it was pulled from holder and pulled to surf. As I grab the rod as set the hook, it was big and pulled me off balance falling in the surf just as the leader knot broke. Very cool. Not sure I’ll get the sand and saltwater out of the reel. Lol
