North Coast drought continues. 6 weeks now. All rains split apart and continue east or west or dissipate before arrival. Even w/o rain humidity bad.

Getting bug to wet a line. Like U ... hard to find time. Gotta be tossin bait in before sunup. Inland lakes very warm. Use mostly shrimp. 15 minutes in... raw shrimp goes pink - cooked. Bite drops off by 0800 hrs.

In bocce playoffs here in the OP compound. Good regular season...lotsa laughs, no rain outs - obviously, and been eatin out after games.

Finishin up exterior house maintenance before can start surface tree root removal and lawn leveling. Nasty job to start once weather cools.

Possible non-fishin trips to VA and TN in the fall.
