North Coast rain forecast again today thru Thurs. Problem is its just forecast...never rains. Had only light showers one night + 2 hours heavy in last 3 weeks.

Sorry to hear about your basement. Mess for sure. Hope nothing too much lost. Dads basement flooded about 8 times over the years 1957 - 2000 even w/ sump pump. City to blame as poorly designed systems w/ lots of homes allowed to tie sanitary and storms together. A no-no that somehow passed the City inspection when built.

Here in the OP compound house is on highest hill w/ deep ravines north and south. Been OK for 15 years now.

Funny thing re: prior post this thread about storms here. Never made newspaper. Nothing. Too busy bashing. No room for real news.
