looking for fishin info

Wife decided to rent a house North of the food lion in Corolla this Sept ...something different as she puts it ... so does anybody have any fishing holes they know of or like to share ... hate to spend the first few days doing re-con , but then again having the pole in my hand and an icy cold one in the other doesn't sound too bad .
How about nite fishin with the old lantern luring some action in ?
Figured it was early in asking but better than waiting till i'm there . Gonna hit cabela's for some plugs and top water slings(gift cards) .

PS ...had me a gorgeous chicken salad stuffed mater with bacon on top last nite for dinner !!! Loveeeeeeee summer !
