Rodanthe. East Point. 0515-0820 hrs. E early at 8, changing to ESE 10-18, and again to NNE by late afternoon. Clear water. White caps after 1200 hrs. No bites. 1 other fisherman out throwin metal. Nothing.

Umbrellas blowin down beach by late afternoon.

Only deep water this week continues mornings after visitors in water and after dark.

More canopy structures on beach. Nothing tagged by park service. In fact no park setvice around all morning. 1 erected late yesterday right at high tide line. 4 corners all have 30" bare pipes pointing out about 4ft. above sand when canopy off. Perfect to walk/run into at nite, esp. tomorrow w/ beach havin lots out shootin/watchin fireworks.
