Friday Report

Salvo. Ramp 25. 0545 hrs. Variable winds. Incoming tide. Waves hittin beach grown from last 2 days 8 ft. to 10-12. Chair backed to 4 wheeler ruts due to high water. Holdin bottom w/ a 2. Pins early then blues. 0830 hrs. bite stopped cold.

Laugh of the day. This Capt sittin in chair (as usual) holdin rod, when notice wall of water about 100 ft. out. Not a wave but a wall of water comin about 12-14 ft. Like tsunamis seen in movies. Ran like h*ll for dune. Hit beach bout 25 ft. north of chair. Survived!!

Crew to do Board Wok tonite. Owner still makes this Capt item not on menu for years. Always nice to see servers Claire and Vinnie. Traditional last nite meal.

East Point tomorrow for 1 more week. Seafood dinner another tradition. Pickin up crab at FL. Sale. $4-$6 less lb. than its been. Have leftover frozen shrimp. Adding bag clams from Rodanthe Austins, salad, spuds, garlic bread. (And yes, scrub clams before steamin).
