Salvo. Sound. 0545-0800 hrs. W 5, changing to S 10. Beautiful morning. Noseeums early. Pins and pigs.

Spoke w/ 2 other fishermen askin if crew had caught anything in surf all week as they had got none.

Best part of day for grandkids seein close in mackeral chasin bait and sea turtle. Mackeral not biting.

Big storms last nite agin. More comin from W now.

Grandaughter caught car door in eye last night - wind. Stiches required for zig zag contusion on skin over closed eye. Done lyin on DR table. Nice to have ER doc + ER nurse in the "crew". Looked like Rocky afterwards. This AM almost no swelling or black eye. Would have been $2000 ER bill:):)
