Big storm Wed. before midnite. Slept thru it....called sleep of thr innocent!!

Salvo. Ramp 25. 0615-08:45 hrs. SW 10-15. Sunny. Flies still around. Changed repellant to "Cutter" . Kept em off. Same-o, ,same-o, skates and shark. No one else w/ eyesight north or south.

Spoke w/ couple park service gals. Said same catch happenin at surrounding ramps and up to Rodanthe. Few fisherpeople out mornings.

Re: previous comments on Food Lion and OP's. Food Lion "much" busier than normal...know after 15 years on HI. OP's in droves....again like never before. OP porta potty in house too. Someone opened the gates.

Will be at full strength tomorrow w/ arrival of son-in-law from Quantico.
