It's better than trying without a cart, the bungee cord straps are for going over dunes without leaving a trail of your stuff behind you.

I have found one of those red wagons in a trash can and tested it, those narrow wheels go down like in quick sand no doubt why there.

I have upgraded the green wagon to the aluminum fishing cart which is what most have been using for pier and beach all used to be cheaper.

Snake tips for the south are look down while you walk and step on not over things like logs except when it looks like a tire, might not be.
