Quick Trip & Advice

Ok, it looks like there are some drum at the point. I'm thinking of rolling out of Pa tonight and trying to make it to Hatteras for tomorrow morning and fishing till Saturday. I need some advice from the locals "King" "Capt Rick" do you think it's worth me making this quick trip?
Looks like the winds will be switching each day I'll be there "Wed, Thur & Friday".
I'll plan on staying in Hatteras and can be mobile.
