Garden gets full sun all day. The sun pretty much had it thawed out. We haven't had a real hard freeze for a while. Was able to get down 6-8" with the Mantis.
I too put in my shredded leaves from fall. About 3-4". Don't put ashes in anymore.
Wood burner still in full operation. Have gone thru almost 7 cords of firewood. It could have been less except 5 cords were Sycamore. Burns pretty fast. Now burning Locust, Ash and Black Walnut.
Seven more weeks till the Outer Banks spring trip.
