Hatteras Island got the worst of other seems like they might have had a storm surge looks like it came across the new beach nourishment in Buxton.

Not good for vehicles was a white pickup truck on the bypass yesterday that reeked of gasoline you had to roll the windows down to get smell out.

Maybe a gas can spill or beach rot. I've took my old truck to get the brakes worked on before. The mechanic took the wheel off and water came out.

Then he laughed at the inside because he couldn't identify the parts, it was all a big chunk of rust. Sometimes you have to drive through the water.

The salt and sand blasting in the wind will work on them too. The most funniest I have seen was the old lady's car that was running the trailer park.

One side of the car looked brand new and the northeast side was all rusted with the paint wore off looked like a before and after picture of the car.

Anyway the new Publix grocery store has opened still giving out free samples and a free green cloth grocery bag with Publix Kill Devil Hills on there.

The key lime pie sample is good. Easy to use those bags pack them all in one bag and throw in cart put meats in those clear veg bags so it won't leak.

Lowe's has a week wait time for a water heater install and Home Depot doesn't do it here because there's only one with a #1 rated state license for it.

The guy there said to replace the anode rod after 5 years and it will last longer. I have never tried that before does not look like it is hard to do.

Home Depot did have their plants in for spring. I think it is still too early the way the weather has been lately looking forward to some fresh tomatoes.
