The best way is to use those plastic cat food jugs or the large Folgers coffee cans, it's strong plastic and take what you need that day.

Sort the containers by sinker size and write on them with a black marker what they are like 4 or 5 oz., I use metal buckets for scrap lead.

I use the Lee Production Pot for melting and like it. Throw in the lead then scrape off the top with a spoon, heat the mold and pull lever.
