Watch out for that wet ice, I landed on my knee and I was hanging on to the rail. The local tv news was here said we got 6 to 8 inches of snow.

I could not tell because the wind piled it into drifts some were halfway to the top of an outside trash can. The bypass is clear, sides are ice.

I had creamy potato soup with leftover ham cut up in it in the crock pot. If it's a usual year the first 3 weeks of January is the worst part here.

I'm ready for some warmer weather even summer with the horde. I see signs of early spring like fog, blackbirds, heard geese honking flying at night.
