Hey all .... weekend went great . Started off with a rehersal dinner that was some exceptionally fine eats and more drinks at the hotel(loews in philly) . Nice hotel ... we literally had a crane operator we could look across at while he was working ...no-friggin way i'd be in that bad boy , don't care how much an hour he made ! LOL Friday was the wedding ... the hotel was about 3 blocks from the venue ... we walked cause the cab we got in hit a jeep ... LOL . anyway ...venue was amazing . I hadn't seen it prior , the girls and son did all the arranging , what a great night . Grandson at 2 carried a sign down the isle introducing the bride . Did a great job . Cocktail hour and the apps were over the top , dinner was perfect size and tasty and desserts were just plain delicious . After we headed back to the hotel and sat and drank bourbon the rest of the evening ... Son and new bride took off for 10 days in Thailand , Sunday morning after celebrating the EAGLES win .
Yes , the son is 32 . I wish I was 32 again ! Rented tux as we don't need that kind of attire much . As for moving ... got my orders from the bride that we're staying in the area around current and future grandkids . The boss rules ! We all know how that goes !
Awesome weekend ! Now i'm looking forward to some warm weather and soaking some lines ! Stay healthy and happy all .
Rac ...thinking about Clearwater in early March to see the Phillies to get some of that needed sun .
