visiting 4/25 thru 5/3

Coming down the last week of april and looking for advice/recommendations for surf fishing. I stay near the beach at Hatteras, but didn't have any luck there last year. Caught one nice blue at Okracoke on a day trip. I have 4w drive and rigged for the beach. My wife doesn't care to fish, so I'm on my own and can go wherever the fish are biting.
