King - North Coast Report

25 this AM w/ dusting of snow. It has begun. Possible record breaking lows tonite.

Lived thru tornadic storm Sun. nite. Power out over a day. Major roof damage, siding, lost food, etc. Just few days after Mrs. Capt declared couple of times North Coast best place to live...no forest fires, hurricanes, earthquakes.

And LA trips over. No more lost rods, gars, etc. No chance for the Boggy Creek side trip. Son-in-law selected. Be visitin in VA next.

Attended w/ Mrs. Capt this AM Veterans Day Mass, breakfast, speakers at grandkids church and school. Kids waited tables at breakfast. About 25 vets (and spouses)in attendance. Down 1/3 from last year. Spent some time w/ paraplegic female vet and her service dog "Glory". Glory liked this Capt's treats. Speakin for all vets...always nice to hear "Welcome Home", no matter how much time has passed.

Probably last 2 weeks in June in Waves next year not gonna happen. House sold, rent up $1000 a week!!!!!, and will now allow pets. Have hold on Salvo soundfront same time period. 1 week Rodanthe 1st week of July still on.

Your trip looked nice. Pics and narrative like a show on Travel Channel:):) Small towns always best. Closet to culture of the "old" days.
