King - Update - North Coast

Flakes mixed w/ rain yesterday and today.

Had no color on trees. 2/3 of leaves already dropped.

Hickory nuts heavy but covered w/ 6 - 12" of leaves.

Deer have taken big hit from disease. Almost 500 in county dead from it. Haven't seen any since July. Usually abundant. Squirrels also absent. Turkeys will be round soon unless coyotes have gotten em.

Son-in-law completed HRT elimination course. Completion not guarantee of selection. Waitin to see. If chosen will be reassigned to Quantico. Over 50% failed during course and were sent home. Daughter not satisfied w/ marathons, Ironman, etc. now Cross Fitting. Won 1st try at competition 2 weeks ago. Cost was dislocated rib ... now relocated.
(PA Marine...if you're readin this...yes, your favorite beach gal).

Booked for 6/16 - 7/7 Waves and Rodanthe next year.

Finished clearin outside of furniture, plants etc. Only big project since return from LA = cutting out sod (hand job:):) from sunken front lawn, filling in and re-sodding.

No fishin since back.

Silence here on board deafening. No one has anything to share??
