It's the current direction that will change again soon. You would have to go over to Shelly Island and fish the southwest side.

You need a breezy wind coming from the southwest or south for it, piles the bait up there or try the south side of Frisco Pier.

If it is north then try the old lighthouse jetties. For fishing the crowd see who is catching the fish and get it the next day.

Also if the cold front makes the northern beaches too rough, the Ramp 49 area or around Frisco Pier could be worth trying there.

It's not always true but tends to work.
