Uh oh, while this Capt seldom weighs in on politics...scab has been picked.

Obama's looks were not the issue. Those who elected him did so hoping for unity not divisiveness. But he chose to dismiss the morals, religion and work ethic of middle America...basically what the "greatest generation" fought for. His view of the world was learned from anti-capitalists, racists and politicos he surrounded himself w/ from college thru his 2 terms.

The "common good" became a "me" mentality. Law and order challenged by extremists whipping up the un- and mis-educated.

Sorry, but there's no excuse for not succeeding in America today. Race, color, religion makes no difference. 125 years ago yes - but not today. Everyone has the same opportunity to succeed. But success in America does not come "free", it must be earned thru hard work!

BTW: Remember no one from Obama's college days remembered him? Two terms and 1 year later and still no one has stepped up.

Can anyone look around and say America is better because of his politics?? Local liberal college town just changed Columbus Day observance to "Indigenous Americans Day".

This weekend we celebrate "Labor Day" not "Entitlement Day."
