Traffic was heavy in both directions on the bypass all day today.

Probably a lot waiting to get on Hatteras Island and staying in motels here.

I heard a generator blew up at one down there .......

It's a breezy chilly night with a misty rain and the ocean is roaring.

I'm wondering how the wash out will do at the Black Pelican, seem to be doing that last.

Funny thing earlier the wash out was full of people but not on the finished beach right beside it.

Tomatoes are doing really good this year and I will be up to my elbows in cherry and nice clusters.

Getting ready to do some kale for fall and winter, I had the last one in the freezer tonight.

I'm recycling I cut five big paper bag fulls of seed pods about a month ago.

I stop picking it when the kale goes to seed because it gets bitter.
