Hope all are havin a fun day w/ a least a moment to remember those that have served.

Those of you that did... "Thanks for Serving".

On that note, take every opportunity to shake hands w/ vets and thank them for their service. Sat, in Waynesboro at a Cracker Barrel restaurant saw one, and stuck out my hand. Very old fella havin trouble gettin around. He looked at me confused. I pointed at his hat. Took a few seconds for him to comprehend... a World War 2 vet. Apparently hasn't happened to him often. As we walked away Mrs. Capt remarked..."Did you see his eyes well up"??

Had older daughter and family over for fried chicken etc. , last nite as they have no functioning kitchen.

Younger son had us over for breakfast this morning.

Neighbors havin us over for cookout tonite.

At this rate, will be a week before can get house siding and gutters cleaned before deck can be set up for Mrs. Capt.

Fireworks have been goin off quite a bit last 2 nites. Here at the OP community about 1/2 can't hear em:):)
