Wind Directions

Can someone post some General Rules when it comes to the Wind Direction as it pertains to Beach Fishing for the Summer Months and the Fall Months? This would be for the East Facing Beaches (Nags Head, Rodanthe) and then for the more Southern Facing Beaches around the Cape (Frisco, Hatteras)
