Waves 6/21 Report

0530 hrs. WSW 10 - 15. Moderate to heavy rain since dinner last nite.

Tripped south to H. Village yesterday morning dodging rain. Bout 12 stops.
Noticed all shop wares changing to majority low end trinkets. 1 shop owner sayin been hard to get stock last 12 months.

Mrs. Capt happy to stop at library for daily book sale. Got 7 more to add to her 1000+ (no joke) collection.

W/ more smaller restaurants closin, hard to get lunch at 1345 hrs. Sqeezed into lot at Diamond Shoals. Packed. Were seated next to boiserous table of 12, mostly kids 8 and under yellin, standin. Had to move to bar area. Server doin tables in main room, + bar booths + bar. Kept sayin be right w/ you. Left after 1/2 hour w/o orders bein taken. Zoo. Visitors waiting to be seated all way out the door. Usually find a "comfort food" special like pork chops, meat loaf, fried chicken...not this time.

Been no viable fishin windows since Sat.
