The squid could be freezer burnt and no good. I see Hatteras Jack just posted a big white cooler full of some fresh oily mullets on facebook.

I'd get a few of those smaller size fish and double fireball float rigs, fillet and cut into pieces 1"x2", throw way out.

Try in the drop off right at the beach with some sand fleas or Fishbites bloodworms, expect muddy - sea mullet and clear - pompano.

Look at the high tide line up on the beach for the most sand flea shells and pieces for a good spot to fish, use smaller size 5 or 4 hooks.

You could try putting a bigger bait out there on one rod like a live croaker that you caught.
