Inshore Help

Hello all. I am a little new to inshore fishing. I learned a little about trout and flounder fishing last June. My problem is that this year we are coming down the first week in April.

Does anyone have any suggestions for boat fishing for trout at this time of year? I know that at this time of year they will be looking for deeper water to stay comfortable. I also know they are a little sluggish in the cold water. At this point I am planning on Carolina rigging gulp shrimp for them and fishing really slow.

I guess what I an trying to find out is a few good trout holes within about ten miles of the Washington Baum Bridge/Pond Island area where I will be staying.

Also, if I am barking up the wrong tree, any other suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help...
