Black Pelican

They were packed the other night and Hurricane Mo's looked like a summer crowd. I hadn't tried them lately and picked up a to go order.

The Black Pelican might have got a new chef it was better, ready quick and the cocktail sauce didn't make your nose run.

They had some specials going on rockfish seemed to be the fish of the day, I got the fried mahi mahi and oysters.

I got them to switch the sides for fries and Kahlua mashed sweet potatoes, thought I'd try it.

I'm fan of sweet potato pudding, it was bland and I only tasted nutmeg may have had something if they made it sweet and added some Kahlua.

The rest was really good and was more than plenty.
