DUCK/COROLLA

Well, for the first time in ,say, thirty five years, my family and I went to Duck/Corolla from the SOUTHERN side...we used to walk to Duck from Va.Beach ,down the beach, back years ago...sleep on the beach,you know. So imagine my surprise when I found that the Northern Outer Banks had been taken over by Yankees and Corporate America and such, with their "McMansions" and no beach access and like that. I don't fish any of the Outer Banks anymore, and haven't since the beginning of the NC Saltwater License....I guess I should thank your legislature for keeping me out in the BOONIES and away from OBX while it was invaded. Sort of kept me from a GRADUAL increase in tourism, which I might have sort of tolerated, like in my home town, VA. BEACH...The suddenness of the current state of the Banks leaves me with a proper sense of disgust... Hope the old Bankers made some money on this mess. Flip
