Lowes advertising primer/paint combined a @ $17.99.

Not to say it'll perform well. Prior to last painting of family room Mrs. Capt "insisted" that paint and primer from another big box store be used to save this Capt. time. Results awful. Painting ceiling to floor. By time for next ceiling to floor pass initial already dried. Had overlap lines all thru the job. Contacted manufacturer and was told to add 2 oz. of water to each gallon. Paint was replaced, but all needed 2nd coat. So much for "savin time".

Now back to separate prime and finish coats. No stress.

Re: cabinet installs. Here in OP community, one night all cabinets on one wall fell for a resident. Cause...60% of screws into drywall. Not DIY...contractor work.

On a roll now...have 3 layers of vinyl on kitchen floor and 2nd install of laminate in dining room and hallways. All due to contractor negligence.
