I remember one doing it before I think the storm was Dennis in 1998 and it also stalled on top of us and that went on for a couple of weeks.

At first everything was closed then more and more businesses started opening back up and the traffic on the bypass went back to normal.

You just got use to living inside of a hurricane, it was crazy.

The t-shirt design was Dennis The Menace riding a bent Cape Hatteras Lighthouse like a horse.

Avalon Pier used to sell hurricane shirts, I don't know if they still do.

Another one hit the gulf coast later on with that same name and the name was retired.
