the Piankatank river is next river south of Rappahannock in Va. It separates Middlesex and Mathews co. Dragon Run which starts in upper Essex and dumps into the Piankatank River which dumps into Chesapeake Bay near Deltaville and Gwynn's Island. I hope this helps.
