In early April you can find Puppy Drum in the surf along the Outer Banks. You may also find some in the sound. It looks Drum fishing will be in full swing come early April. So gather your drum rigs and get plenty of fresh bait, either mullet or fresh cut blues and have a blast. You can read more and follow more on Drum fishing as they start to approach the surf at Ocracoke Island at www.fishtradewinds.com
