Cabela's camping director's chair is perfect for surf fishing, tall and very stable in sand great for constantly getting in and out of it.

Mine is an older one made out of aluminum and I have to oil the joints every now and then but it's still doing great.

I used to use those cheap tall aluminum chairs with the nylon webbing until I couldn't find them anymore.

Most beach chairs are designed for you to stay put in them with a beer.
