Well maybe so. The drums are starting to do pretty good in Ocracoke so maybe everyone split to there. My buddy fished the Chesapeake Bay out by past the third island the other day, he said all he caught was time. LOL. I will start very soon fishing the Roanoke River for stripers. I have been down at the river everyday watching for the signs. They are catching shad but things have slowed down to what they were last week, I think mainly because Domionion Power generated before the weekend putting the water levels high which probably pushed the shad back but things will pick up. Once you see the herion fish up at Weldon, then its time to take striper fishing seriously for the big boys are on the way. Well off to keep a tight line, Debbie
