Well as I predicted Drum action started occurring this past weekend on the beaches of Ocracoke. www.fishtradewinds.com out of Ocracoke, North Carolina says that the SSW winds direction along with the water temperatures rising helped to bring some good fishing catches of 54" and 48" red drum. They also report that with the March full moon and water temperatures getting in the right range that they are hoping to see more of these big fish caught. Alan and Melinda from Tradewinds Bait and Tackle are sure that the red drum are making the right paths towards Ocracoke, so dust off those fishing rods and head to Ocracoke for some fun fishing for these big boys during the month of March. Things will only get better. Keeping a tight line for now, Debbie
