Well it depends on what type of fishing you really really want to do. There are all types of fishing opportunities in the month of May. A lot of these opportunities depend on where your staying on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I would recommend you to these web sites:

www.fishtradewinds.com (For fishing in or near Ocracoke)
www.finnaglefishing.com (for a good charter fishing)
www.fintalk.com (for fishing out of Oregon Inlet)
or you can google fishing out of Pirates Cove (which is between Nags Head and Manteo.
