Beach Fishing Report

I snuck down to the Frisco Beaches last Sunday to Tuesday. It was my first time fishing those southern beaches. Had periodic rain and some wind but fishing was ok. Caught a mixed bag of critters. Small to Large Mullet (one was probably a citation, but to lazy to haul it anywhere to verify) 15"-24" Blues, Puffers, 1 Spot, Smooth Dog Shark?, and about 1/2 dozen Flounder. That's probably the most flounder I've even caught, so was a treat. Are Flounder more frequent on those beaches? Caught most of the small stuff on Blood Worms Tipped with Fake Blood worms and the Bigger Fish on Fish Finder Rigs with cut Mullet. Caught all the Flounder and one big mullet on the fish finder rigs and cut bait and of course the Blue's reeked havoc on them. Quick 3 day trip, but always appreciate any time I can get away and enjoy the OBX.
