Caught at daughters complex lake in Bossier City, LA. Yes, same place w/ all the flooding last 2 days.

150 ft. across and 800 ft. long. Was apprx. 15 deep in middle. May be 5 ft. deeper after the flooding. Heavy vegetation. Have reported it here before. Yellow. Looks like springtime weeping willow branches but stays under water.

Panfish, cats, turtles and bowfin caught last year.

No feeding water but ground runoff. Thus the low oxygen. Bowfin come up for gulps of air, but then return to bottom. Tough to catch em as can't fish bottom w/o snagging the vegetation. Pretty sure larger ones lurkin deep.

Be there over Easter again.
