Fishing Report week of 03/27/09

There is not much to report this week. The water has stayed pretty dirty most days but it is trying to clear and calm down. The wind has pushed some colder water back down. Maybe this coming week will be better. Especially with winds starting to come from the SOUTH, this may help with some puppy drum arrivals!
Even though the temperatures will be dropping come Sunday the wind is the importance in Puppy Drum arrival. So even though we don't need real warm weather, we do need something better than a hard north wind.
We usually start to see the big drum show up during the first week or two of March near the southern end of the Outer Banks, so hope and pray for a little SW wind to get things moving up this way for some happy Drum fishing.
Happy Weekend and enjoy the Outer Banks of North Carolina!Holding a tight line, Debbie
