Well after about 3 weeks of Northeasters blasting us plus about 20 plus inches of rain we finally found our way back into the Ocean.What a crappy stretch of weather,.....been along time since I have seen it so bad so long. The water had cooled down to 71 degrees inshore and 76 degrees offshore...and it looked terrible.22 miles offshore the water looked like hog pond water. Anyway we picked at the Triggerfish and Seabass all day and pulled out an OK catch.....nice sized Triggers for the most part.
It's problay gonna take awhile for the water to get straightened out along the beach and off the beach...but still should be some good surf fishing for Drum
