Question for King

King: I'm scheduled to show up in OBX this Friday Oct. 9th and stay till the 17th. The kids are coming for the long weekend (9th-12th) then I'm staying to fish the rest of the week. Do you think things will calm down enough for them to enjoy this weekend at the beach? Also, I'm either staying in S. Nags Head or heading back down to Waves. Found a place right beside the Nags Head Pier, but I haven't fished up that way in 20+ years. Any advantage or disadvantage to surf fishing in S. Nags Head or in the Waves area? Thanks.
