We were there a week ago Sunday (the 20th). We only stayed till Thursday morning. The rain and wind made it impossible for surf fishing. There are a couple of places to fish in the wind. Wash. Baum bridge & Redstone point are my favorites.
After what we went thru, if you can delay your trip till after the storm, I'd do it.
