I went down it last night and the entire stretch was fine in Kitty Hawk, no signs of overwash on the beach road anywhere.

Some sand is piled up on the inside turning lane at the Black Pelican from the wind and the sand fence that was along the dune there blew over.

Further south the usual big rain ponds were on the road at Avalon Pier and the Jolly Roger restaurant, they need to be fixed.

At least warning signs at the Jolly Roger one, you "will" go into the other lane there if you hit it at the full speed limit.

The wind has picked back up again and is going to be supermoon high tides this weekend.
